Level 4 Certificate in Health and Social Care

The Level 4 Certificate in Health and Social Care is designed to
give you the knowledge, understanding and skills you need to be
successful in a health and social care career at a supervisory or
management level. The mandatory units in the certificate provide
a strong foundation in the profession, while allowing you an
optional unit in a specialization focus area. Optional coursework
ranges from study of psychology, public health, social policy,
human resources, finance and other focused topics.
Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Certificate, you will be
able to make an immediate and meaningful contribution in the
management of health and social care.

Progression

Upon completion of the Level 4 Certificate you should be able to
progress to:
• The Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care; or
• The first year of undergraduate university study in health
and social care; or
• Employment in a related profession.
Qualifi have transfer agreements with UK and US universities
that recognize and transcript the Level 4 Certificate.

Qualification Structure

The Level 4 certificate in Health and Social Care consists of seven mandatory, foundational units and one optional unit. You must complete all seven mandatory and at least one of the optional units.
